Some of you may well wonder what I have been up to as I know have been rather quiet on here - most have probably not even noticed! Life has been busy and I've been out and about as is the norm at this time of year, and now suddenly it's the end of November. I'm here today though, and my two furry friends are very happy that I am at home!
A WARMING TREAT ...
This amazingly simple Mushroom Soup recipe was inspired by a friend of mine who had been incredibly orgainsed and brought it for her lunch when we were both doing a fair earlier this week, and she very kindly gave me some too. It was particularly cold that day and so warming soup was incredibly welcome, but it was also so utterly delicious that when I got home I had to make some myself. Thank you Alex for sharing your wonderful soup with me, and for telling me how you made it so I can share it too! I so recommend it.

It's only one month to go until christmas day and I am very unprepared. Having shared her soup recipe with you, I am going to give a shout out to my great friend Alex from Marsden's Confectionery - Alex's fudge is literally the best (she has masses of Great Taste Awards as proof of that) so if you haven't tried it then I suggest you do, or perhaps you might like to share the love and treat someone else. There are masses of different flavours - Ginger has always been my go to, but this year Treacle is my favourite! Rupert loves the Chilli. Another brilliant stocking filler.
