I hope you had a really happy easter, and enjoyed some special time with family and friends. It’s amazing to think that this time last week I was preparing, and now it’s all over, and I’m about to put the Easter decorations away for another year. I absolutely love these beautiful felt eggs which I was given as a present last year, and this year I even decorated the olive tree outside the front door with some little eggs too!

We were really lucky to go skiing just before easter but the weather sadly did not play ball. I was more excited about having sunshine than good snow, but apart from one morning of sun we didn't do brilliantly on either front! We had loads of fun though, and the good news is that we have sunshine forecast here this week – I can't wait to feel some warmth.

I don’t know about you but I haven't found any wild garlic so far this year! Maybe I will still get lucky, but I've heard a number of people talking about it rather a lot in the past few weeks so I’m worried I may have missed the boat. I really hope not as I love it - wild garlic risotto is a real fave, and I love making wild garlic pesto.

Yesterday I went to meet a friend for lunch at a new café in Chipping Norton called Little Delish - if you live in the area I highly recommend it – we had a great lunch, and they also have a deli section where they sell, among other things, their own home made pesto in a variety of flavours – so I grabbed a jar and we had Gnocchi with Wild Garlic Pesto last night which was so yum.

I can’t believe I have my first fair this coming week! I don’t generally do many fairs at this time of year, but I have a few coming up in the next couple of months. This Thursday (20th April) I will be at Henley Town Hall for the Chiltern Centre Fayre so if you happen to be near by I very much hope you might be able to pop in and support this great charity. If you aren’t nearby then do check the Fairs page on my website to see if I might be heading in your direction sometime soon, or if you would like to place an order direct this weekend you can use code WILDGARLIC to get 10% off.

Whatever you’re up to have a happy weekend. I think I might go on a Wild Garlic hunt.
